The latest episode of "Germany's next top model" started on Thursday evening with a very special shoot. In the middle of Hollywood Boulevard, Heidi Klums (46) Meeedchen was to transform into Marilyn Monroe (1926 – 1962). After such an extraordinary experience, one of them had to say goodbye later.
The first young model was Tamara. After minor difficulties, she got on well, after all, "Hollywood life, film, Marilyn Monroe" was just her thing. Lucy had a much harder time. "The subject of sexy and me is a bit difficult," she said in advance. Accordingly, photographer Yu Tsai also judged: "When she laughs, she intimidates me a little."
Almost all the girls agreed: Especially the wind, which was used to reproduce Monroe's probably most famous photo, made the task very difficult. Johanna in particular also had her problems, she not only looked "shy", but was also not completely fit. She even got a second chance, but didn't do much better.

Mareike would certainly have wished for a second chance to change her mind. "Less red light district, more film star", Yu Tsai demanded, especially her "open doll mouth" frustrated the photographer. She looked like a goldfish, he explained to the model, who then laughed. "Do you think that's funny?" Asked the photographer annoyed. "Dude, that was so anti-social," said Mareike behind the scenes. "Brother, chill dude", she just thought.
The shoot went much better for Lijana, who had worried unnecessarily. "I love her," said Yu Tsai. With her exuberant joy, however, she caused some other candidates to be upset at the same time. The weakest idea was a subsequent conclusion, according to Klum: Johanna, Maribel and Mareike, who started to discuss with Yu Tsai again because she thought his choice of words was "just below the belt".
From the #barbie to the #zicke
The candidates then got down to business in an interview training session with journalist and moderator Christian Düren (29). Düren deliberately showed up on a confrontation course to lure the girls out of the reserve. After the talks, he assigned a hashtag to represent his impression of the girls. Disguised as an Instagram post and the hashtag assigned to them, the girls should hover over the catwalk for the decision in front of Klum and Victoria's Secret angel as well as guest judge Alessandra Ambrosio (38). The girls got their first rating with emojis.
Tamara (#risingstar) presented herself particularly convincingly, receiving the first good rating from the jurors after Julia (#underdog), Lijana (#fake) and Maribel (#eisklotz) were not enthusiastic. Some other candidates like Maureen (#playerwoman), Johanna (#zicke) or Larissa (#barbie) did their job mostly well again.
Despite a difficult week, Mareike (#norolemodel) finally – like most of her colleagues – made it into the next round. The show is over for Lucy (#proud), who has always had a problem with her walk. She was particularly fond of Klum, but the model mom Lucy didn't want to let her get ahead. To the surprise – and sometimes horror – of her colleagues, Maribel got a photo. So in the end it was only Lucy who had to pack her things.
