Heidi Klum reveals: This candidate is Leni Klum’s favorite

GNTM starts a new season and Heidi Klum welcomes 31 candidates in Athens. A young model has a big fan even before the show starts: Leni Klum.
Thousands of girls applied to “Germany’s Next Top Model” in 2022, but Heidi Klum, 48, only selected 31 participants for the 17th season of GNTM. When looking for the best young models, Heidi apparently didn’t just get help from celebrities at the beginning of the show, but already when reviewing the application videos. None other than daughter Leni Klum, 17, kept an eye on the candidates – and one of the women was particularly fond of her.
GNTM candidate Paulina fascinates at first sight
When Paulina Stępowska, 32, gets out of the car, Heidi surprises her with a compliment. “You were my Leni’s favorite,” said the GNTM presenter. Now the 32-year-old only has to live up to the expectations of the Klum family.
Paulina and the other candidates await a professional fashion show immediately after arrival, where they are scrutinized by Heidi Klum and singer Kylie Minogue, 53. Here it will be clear whether Leni Klum was correct in her assessment and whether Paulina actually has what it takes to be a top model.
GNTM fans are enthusiastic about the candidates
In addition to Paulina, some fan favorites are already emerging on social media. The best ager models Martina, 50, Lieselotte, 66, and Barbara, 68, in particular, immediately impressed the viewers. In the first episode on Thursday, February 3, 2022, it also shows directly that the other candidates feel the same way: the over 50 models are a real sensation among the participants and not only make Heidi proud, but also concern the entire group of the 17th season for a good mood.
