Good deal – The Panasonic Lumix TZ200 “5-star” camera at €799.99 (-28%)

The TZ200 is a compact camera equipped with a large 1″ type sensor of 20.1 Mpx and thus offers great promises of image quality. In addition, the TZ200 is also equipped with a 15x zoom for more of versatility.

Panasonic displays true expertise in optics by equipping this Lumix TZ200 with a 15x zoom which offers exemplary compactness while ensuring good quality and good homogeneity. We only deplore its modest openness. The TZ200 also lacks an adjustable screen, but that’s the price to pay for having such a discreet compact camera, which will fit in anywhere.

Should we continue to offer compacts with small sensors when everyone today has a phone capable of taking photos of astonishing quality? Certainly, users will continue to turn to cameras when they are looking for powerful zoom. This is also a niche in which the HX99 excels with its 30x zoom stored in a pocket handkerchief. But the optical quality is not there and the image quality struggles to withstand competition from 1″ sensor devices. The HX99 remains capable of great things for a low price, but its market is shrinking at high speed .
