There is good news for drivers in Vienna: The renovation work on the driveway from the Südosttangente (A23) to the Donauuferautobahn (A22) can be completed earlier than planned. Free travel to the north will be available from next Thursday, one week earlier.
The previous diversion via the Kagran exit will be deactivated. The lock coming from Donaustadtstrasse will be lifted on Friday, according to Asfinag.
“Although the diversion to the A22 went very well, we are of course very pleased to be able to open this important and heavily used connection of the tangent to the A22 to traffic again,” explained Asfinag managing director Andreas Fromm.
