Google Cloud and Stack Overflow announced a strategic partnership that combines the technological power of Google Cloud’s artificial intelligence with Stack Overflow’s deep development knowledge.
This partnership will allow Google Cloud customers to access Stack Overflow directly in the Google Cloud console and Gemini for Google Cloud. Developers on Stack Overflow will also be able to leverage Google Cloud AI to find coding solutions more efficiently.

The partnership leverages Stack Overflow’s 15 years of experience and Google Cloud’s advanced developer tools, including its AI-powered capabilities. These generative AI capabilities are powered by Gemini, Google’s latest and greatest language model, which powers its AI chatbot and other services.

New features planned for this year
The merger of Gemini for Google Cloud and Stack Overflow’s vast knowledge base is expected to improve developer productivity and accuracy. Users will be able to easily ask questions about their code and get answers supported by Stack Overflow data – all without leaving the Google Cloud environment.
