Google Fiber plans to extend its offer to 20 Gb/s to residential users by the end of 2023. For the moment, this speed is only available in a few areas in the United States, but the Mountain firm View appears to be confident in its technology. There is still a long way to go, but progress is definitely there. Earlier this year, Google began testing fiber up to 20 Gbps, available in specific areas, such as the University of Missouri. These tests have obviously gone well, since Google has just announced that the program will be extended to all users by the end of the year.
