This is a romantic comedy that meets all the codes of the genre, from the dream destination to the funny coincidences that will complicate the lives of our heroes.
The story begins with Emma, a young woman who must announce her upcoming marriage to her mother, Lana. The latter, widowed for some time, cannot bring herself to see her daughter leave the family nest and live her own life.
Things become complicated when, arriving in Thailand to celebrate their union, Lana understands that the groom’s father is none other than Will, a former conquest who broke her heart decades earlier at college.

The film swaps the love story of the young couple for that of older characters, which is rare enough not to mention.
