Groupe Gorg announces that its subsidiary ECA Group has passed the important milestone of CDR (Revue de Conception Dtaille) in the development of the robotic mine-clearance systems program at the Belgian and Dutch navies, in accordance with the schedule agreed with the client.
CDR demonstrated the maturity of the design, thus making it possible to start manufacturing the equipment. The production of the drones will take place in the Ostend plant (Belgium), which is currently being completed, for a presentation to the acceptance operations with the customer at the end of 2023.
“Other navies, in particular those of Canada, the United Arab Emirates and even Australia have currently launched acquisition programs for robotic demining systems for which the group is positioned”, adds Groupe Gorg.
