A woman from Eastern Switzerland who works in the healthcare sector has complained to Coop. Via Twitter, she complained about people in Coop uniforms who refused to wear a mask on the bus. The woman was then blackened internally and then suddenly attacked badly on the bus. She is referred to as a “slut” – and Coop finally apologizes to her.
As “Blick” writes, Coop is now actually putting into practice the announcement that it would take action on the basis of the misconduct of its employees. Coop media spokeswoman Rebecca Veiga said to the “Blick”: “Talks were held with the affected employees in the aforementioned distribution center and disciplinary measures were initiated.”
It remains unclear what exactly these measures are. However, each case is evaluated individually and sanctioned accordingly. In addition, a clear request to correctly wear face masks has been sent to all employees, according to Coop.
