There was a fatal skiing accident in Tyrol on Tuesday afternoon. The 47-year-old Dutchman had previously veered off the slope and crashed into a tree.
The tragic accident took place around 2 p.m. in the middle of the Nauders ski area when the Dutchman went off the piste for reasons that are still unclear and crashed into a tree.First aid from witnessesAccording to the police, witnesses provided first aid, later the piste rescue team and an emergency doctor arrived by helicopter added. However, resuscitation measures were unsuccessful and were stopped after half an hour. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
