The Xbox Series
Hellblade 2 will only be released on Xbox Series and PC, despite rumors of a PS5 version. This does not mean that Microsoft will never port, but at launch on May 21, 2024, a platform supported by the Redmond firm will be required. While the latest extracts have been eye-popping, Ninja Theory continues to promote their game with very special photos that should make the mouths of all those who are impatiently waiting for it water.
Superb new images for Hellblade 2
Hellblade 2 will be one of the highlights of 2024 and perhaps one of the long-awaited showcases for Xbox Series X|S. Although imperfect, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice had the merit of offering a different and striking experience. Whether it’s in relation to the theme of mental health or the sound design which not only drove the heroine of the game crazy. There is therefore a certain expectation around this sequel, just to see how Ninja Theory will be able to renew with this license which could have been a one shot.
We’ll have to wait until we have Hellblade 2 in our hands to judge how the fights progress, or not, but we can already see that on a visual level, it’s going to be heavy. To demonstrate this again, the developers have published four new images on their X account. They confirm that there should be some very beautiful moments from an artistic point of view. And they don’t come from a particular trailer, but from the photo mode. A very popular feature that allows you to capture precise moments and enhance them with different filters, camera angles and many options. Which was done right here.
“Photo mode is back in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. Here are some shots we took this week, using only photo mode” explains Ninja Theory on X. The story of this sequel will focus on the demons of Senua, and in particular on the vikings who attacked her village and enslaved her people. An even more violent title focused on clashes with giants to fight. It will be available exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC from May 21, 2024.
