How the pricing table works
Many manufacturers are now integrating recycled materials into the chassis of their PCs or peripherals. We think of Logitech, Dell or Acer, which has even launched a Vero range dedicated to reducing the impact on the environment. In general, we talk about 30 to 70% recycled plastic depending on the color, but the French start-up IXT Europe goes further with its Green_e brand and its new keyboard made of 100% recycled ABS plastic.
This keyboard has a numeric keypad and adjustable feet to manage the tilt and should suffice for office use. It is available in a wired version at €19.90 and in wireless for just €24.90. A floor price that could give it excellent value for money if the build quality is there. We will verify all this in a test planned over the next few weeks.
Incidentally, a Green_e wireless mouse was also unveiled, but it is made of “only” 30% recycled materials. It has a sensitivity selection button (DPI), weighs barely 47 g and works with an AA battery for an announced autonomy of several months. It is commercially available for €14.90.
