‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star announces split in emotional post

Grey’s Anatomy star Kevin McKidd and his wife have split. The actor shared a longer statement on Instagram.
Kevin McKidd’s (48) second marriage also failed. in one detailed statement on Instagram the “Grey’s Anatomy” star makes his separation from Arielle Goldrath (35) public. The two have not been a couple for “a few months”. McKidd and Goldrath married in 2018 and together they have two children, son Aiden (4) and daughter Nava (2).
Just ended the “marital part of the relationship”.
McKidd explicitly emphasizes that he and Goldrath continue to have a good relationship. They would have only ended “the marital part” of their relationship. “It wasn’t easy and took a lot of work and self-reflection,” said the actor. “It was worth it to get to where we are now: a deep and honest relationship as parents and real friends with a beautiful history together, great kids and family.”
The series star, who rarely shares private things in public, also wants to show with his post that a harmonious separation is possible “if we are there for each other and remain open”. At the end he writes: “I hope that everyone can be so blessed: to raise their children with one of the best friends”.
For Kevin McKidd, who played Dr. Owen Hunt is playing, it’s the second divorce. Born in Scotland, he was married to Jane Parker from 1999 to 2017. From his first marriage he has two children, Joseph (22) and Iona (20).
