Grill the Henssler: Steffen Henssler has never cooked so many points before

Contrary to expectations, Motsi Mabuse, Chris Tall and André Dietz weren't a big hurdle for TV chef Steffen Henssler at "Grill den Henssler".

TV chef Steffen Henssler (47) didn't let anything burn on Sunday evening in his Vox show "Grill den Henssler" and almost sizzled into a frenzy. His prominent opponents – comedian Chris Tall (29), dancer Motsi Mabuse (39) and actor André Dietz (45) – he did not leave a chance and, in addition to the cooking rounds, also decided all the intermediate rounds for himself. In the end he achieved exactly 100 points, more than ever in more than 80 episodes produced to date.

He faced his feared opponent Motsi Mabuse, of all people, against whom Henssler had already competed three times before but was never able to win a round. But the "Let's Dance" juror failed to create a special spice preparation for her South African curry in bread. Henssler, on the other hand, was able to completely convince the jury consisting of Reiner Calmund (71), Christian Rach (63) and Mirja Boes (48) with his interpretation of the dish and in the end clearly triumphed.

However, one small flaw remained: Henssler also narrowly won his round against Dietz, but his risotto with Norway lobster did not reach the jury 100 percent despite the required "sloppiness". Henssler previously made a bet with presenter Laura Wontorra that his risotto would at least once receive the highest possible jury rating of ten points. The self-confessed fan of Hamburger SV will have to stand behind the stove in one of the next episodes in a jersey from arch rivals SV Werder Bremen.
