(CercleFinance.com) – GTT announces that at the end of 2021 it received two orders, each relating to the design of the tanks of a new LNG carrier.
A first LNG carrier will be built by the Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries. This order is for a ship that will offer a total cargo capacity of 174,000 m3. Its delivery is scheduled for the last quarter of 2024.
The second LNG carrier, whose order has been received from a shipyard whose name remains confidential at this stage, involves smaller capacity tanks which will incorporate GTT’s NO96 L03+ membrane containment system. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for the third quarter of 2023.
