You undress for a good cause. In order to draw attention to cancer prevention, celebrities drop the covers in a new show of the broadcaster VOX. As "Bild am Sonntag" first reported, the broadcaster will launch the two-part show "Now is Showtime – Stars Against Cancer".

The two-part show will be moderated by fashion designer Guido Maria Kretschmer (55). A total of 16 celebrities – half men, the other half women – go out to draw attention to the importance of cancer prevention. The whole thing should happen in a charming way: The participants would stylishly undress to music, it says in the Sunday newspaper.
Which celebs are involved is currently still a secret. But one thing is certain: The two "Let's Dance" judges Joachim Llambi (56) and Motsi Mabuse (39) will prepare the Nackedeie for their performance. With the new show, the broadcaster wants to send the message that undressing and being examined can save lives.

In an interview with "RTL", Kretschmar said that he believed that "cancer is an issue for many people and the older you get, the more people you meet who get sick". He knew how important it was to go to preventive care, because it could save lives. The subject speaks to him personally, since a good friend of his died of cancer three years ago, says Kretschmar. "It was difficult for me and I haven't quite overcome it to this day," says the fashion designer.
The model for the new show is "Who Bares Wins". The format is already available in other countries. The German variant should flicker on the screens in 2021. Filming is scheduled to start at the end of this year.
