It was on February 19, 1965 that Guy Bedos and Sophie Daumier married. The actress is already the mother of seven-year-old Philippe, whom Guy Bedos will recognize a few years later. Together, they have a daughter Mélanie who was born in 1977. A few months after her birth, the couple separated. As reported Gala, in 2014 in the documentary "Guy Bedos in complete freedom " (rebroadcast Friday May 29, 2020 on France 3), Guy Bedos talks about how he learned that his ex-wife suffered from Huntington's disease.

Sophie Daumier only recognized him

At the time of their divorce, he found her "unlivable", which further and further removed her from the one he loved.
