Sophie Daumier only recognized him
At the time of their divorce, he found her "unlivable", which further and further removed her from the one he loved. "I learned afterwards that she had Huntington's disease, which attacks both the body and the brain. I blamed myself because if I had known that she was so sick I would not have left"he confided in the report dedicated to him, before telling his end of life:"She no longer recognized anyone, but I recognized me. That's a beautiful story."Guy Bedos accompanied his ex-wife until his death and always made sure that she was never alone, despite his remarriage to Joëlle Bercot."I stole from Simone Signoret this sentence: 'I don't dislike' ", he said in the magazine VSD, in 2014 before adding: "So there you go, I love my current wife and it's life to death between us, but I never stopped thinking about Sophie."
