The skull belonging to Shani Louk, a 23-year-old woman, kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7, was found on Monday by the Israeli army. Her kidnapping was staged by the Palestinian Islamist organization in a video released a few hours after the attack on Israel, where she was seen naked and unconscious in the back of a pickup truck.

The Israeli army is advancing “methodically” in the Gaza Strip, affirmed the Israeli Prime Minister, who rules out any ceasefire in the war against Hamas, demanded by humanitarian organizations which deplore a catastrophic situation in the Palestinian territory. More than 230 people are being held hostage in Gaza, according to the latest Israeli figures. If Israel’s military ground operation made it possible to free a hostage on Monday, the death of Shani Louk, a German-Israeli woman kidnapped on October 7, was confirmed.

Images that shocked the whole world

Unconscious, in the back of a pickup truck, her body disjointed and partially naked, the images of Shani Louk, surrounded by exultant Hamas terrorists, went around the world. Shocking images symbolizing the ordeal of the hostages and the barbarity of their captors.

A few hours after their broadcast on social networks, the mother of this young German-Israeli woman, convinced that she recognized her daughter thanks to her tattoos, called for help from the authorities of the two countries in a moving message. The family knew that Shani Louk was seriously injured, but they hoped that she would come out of this hell alive. Hamas even claimed that she was being treated in a hospital in Gaza.

The exact circumstances of his death still unclear

The exact circumstances of his death still remain unclear. Confirming the information to the German daily Bild, Israeli President Isaac Herzog speaks of a barbaric assassination. “They found his skull. Which means these barbaric, sadistic animals cut off his head,” he said. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also reacted, declaring that the circumstances of the death of the 23-year-old German-Israeli woman showed the full brutality of Hamas.
