Handlebar injured – aquaplaning caused the car to roll over to “south”

On Tuesday around 5:20 p.m., a 24-year-old from Klagenfurt, who was driving on the A2 Südautobahn from Villach to Klagenfurt, skidded with his car due to aquaplaning at the level of Wernberg.

The car hit the central rail and overturned. The car came to a standstill lying on the roof. The man was admitted to the LKH Villach injured indefinitely. The autobahn was difficult to pass in this area until around 6 p.m.

The main fire station Villach, FF Zauchen and FF Wernberg were called into action. They secured the scene of the accident, set up fire protection and cleaned the roadway. On behalf of the motorway police, the vehicle, which was no longer ready to drive, was lifted by a crane vehicle from the main fire station and then brought to the nearby company driveway with the help of so-called shunting rollers, which were placed under the wheels, where the car was then picked up by a private towing company, reports OBM Scharf Alexander from the main fire station. Stood for about an hour 37 fire brigades work together with the motorway police, Asfinag and the Red Cross.
