Before the jungle camp, Harald Glööckler wants to be "tuned" with the help of his cosmetic surgeon and personal trainer.

With the jungle show winner Filip Pavlovic (28), singer Lucas Cordalis (53) and star designer Harald Glööckler (55), three residents for the jungle camp 2022 have already been determined. Above all, Glööckler's participation is a real surprise, as he has blocked all inquiries so far. "I don't think that I would have made this decision without the current Corona situation," he explains in an interview with the news agency spot on news. "I urgently need PR."

In order to cut the best possible figure in the camp, the entrepreneur also wants to help artificially. "I will go to the cosmetic surgeon I trust. My cosmetic surgeon, my personal trainer and I will look at the whole thing and then we will decide what needs to be done on me." The 55-year-old still makes a secret of whether he will show himself in the camp with or without a wig.

When exactly did you decide to move to the jungle camp?

Harald Glööckler: Oh, I decided to do this during the pandemic – during the lockdown. Somehow we were all already sitting in the pandemic camp, so why not go straight to the jungle camp?

Would you have made this decision without the current Corona situation?

Glööckler: No, I don't think that I would have made the decision without the current Corona situation. I've been asked for many years. The first time in 2010 from the English jungle camp, I always canceled. But the situation is different: we artists, creatives don't take place. We live off the public, but we don't have a public right now. I thought I urgently needed PR and I get this PR by participating in the jungle camp. RTL wanted me in the jungle and so everyone gets what they want, it's a win-win situation. I also think the jungle camp is a great reality show. I think it expands my consciousness extremely, after all, you have to get out of your comfort zone.

How have the reactions been to your participation in the jungle camp so far?

Glööckler: The reactions were almost exclusively positive – both in the press and on social media. "Finally an A-celebrity in the camp", "Finally a real star in the camp", "The jungle becomes POMPÖÖS", "The jungle becomes glamorous" – these were just some of the reactions.

How much does your husband, Mr. Schroth, support you in this project?

Glööckler: My husband thought the idea was very, very good and he said: "You rock it!"

You have already talked about having breast implants inserted, which operations do you want to have before moving in?

Glööckler: I will go to the cosmetic surgeon I trust. My cosmetic surgeon, my personal trainer and I will look at the whole thing and then we will decide what everything needs to be tuned on me.

Have you also planned a special fitness program?

Glööckler: I have a very tight fitness program anyway, but we will of course change the program again, especially in advance of the jungle.

Will you see the spectators in camp without wigs and makeup?

Glööckler: I think we'll leave that open. There should be surprises too.

Which challenges in the jungle do you have the greatest respect for?

Glööckler: Oh, I have a lot of challenges and respect for the whole camp. But I am very disciplined and if I decide to do something, I will go through with it. You have to reckon with me.

With Filip Pavlovic and Lucas Cordalis, two fellow candidates have already been determined. What do you think of your roommates?

Glööckler: I'm happy that both of them are on board. Filip did wonderfully in the jungle show. A wonderful young man: decent, down to earth, very pleasant. I've known Lucas for a long time and I value him very much – as do the whole Cordalis family, by the way.

If you could choose a celebrity, which star would you like to have with you in the jungle camp?

Glööckler: I would like to have the Queen of England with me. Because as Queen Victoria said: There are kings and queens, then comes the rest.
