Available from this Friday, August 13, 2021 on the streaming platform, Gone forever is the second adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel by Netflix, after Innocent, in 2020. The pitch of this new French mini-series? Guillaume Lucchesi (Finnegan Oldfield), educator in his thirties, sees his first love Sonia Kasmi (Garance Marillier) perish before his eyes, but also his brother Fred (Nicolas Duchauvelle). Life could then have spared our hero, but not at all. After a ten-year time jump, he is found alongside his new partner, Judith (Nailia Harzoune), who evaporates into the wild just after he proposed to her. To find her, Guillaume will have to confront his painful past and a family full of dark secrets.
