Harrison Ford now has the first of two vaccinations against the corona virus. However, he had to be patient for this.

"Indiana Jones" was not afraid of this huge queue for a change: According to the US-American site "Variety", actor Harrison Ford (78) is said to have lined up for two and a half hours to receive his corona vaccination. No celebrity bonus was to be seen when the 78-year-old with a face mask appeared in front of a vaccination center near Los Angeles. According to the report, he made the appointment himself.

A spokesman for the actor did not want to comment directly, but thanked "Variety" to all people in the health sector and the local volunteers.

At 78 years of age, Ford is considered a risk patient and thus one of the first group of people to be vaccinated. In around three weeks, the superstar will have to stand in line again in order to receive full protection against the corona virus with a second vaccination. With over 25 million cases and over 425,000 deaths, the US is among the countries hardest hit by the pandemic.
