Harry and Meghan's baby news came as a surprise. Once again they stole the show from another royal: Princess Eugenie.

The timing of Meghan (39) and Harry (36 )’s baby bomb was probably well considered. The announcement of the new pregnancy fell exactly on the day on which Princess Diana (1961-1997) announced her pregnancy with son Harry 37 years ago. Apparently, however, the fact that the couple would push Princess Eugenie (30) out of the limelight with his news was not taken into account. And not for the first time.

Has Princess Eugenie passed over again?

Princess Eugenie, Harry's cousin, gave birth to her first child on February 9 with husband Jack Brooksbank (35). Three days later, she left the Portland Hospital in London, where Harry and Meghan's son Archie (1) was born in May 2019. The vortex surrounding the two births can hardly be compared. And even now, the baby news of the former senior royals seem ungalant to come to the fore.

Again, it must be said at this point. Because Harry and Meghan are also said to have shared the news of their first pregnancy with the family at the cousin's wedding in 2018. In the biography "Finding Freedom" it is said that even then Princess Eugenie would have wished that the couple would have held back on their big day.

Many fans and Twitter users now think that she could feel the same way with the current situation. In her opinion, it was appropriate that Harry and Meghan had waited a little longer with the baby bomb out of courtesy. At least until Princess Eugenie had the opportunity to publish a first picture of her newborn son.
