Harry & Meghan (Netflix): this heartbreaking shot of Meghan in tears in the middle of her dressing room

This Thursday, December 15, the highly anticipated sequel to the documentary Harry & Meghan arrived on Netflix. In one of the episodes, centered on the couple’s arrival in North America in 2020, a snapshot shows Meghan Meghan Markle collapsed in the middle of her dressing room, while packing her bags.

Continuation and end of the documentary! This Thursday, Netflix unveiled the second and final part of Harry & Meghan, the documentary in which the Sussexes deliver their version of the facts about their shattering break with the British monarchy. In the sixth episode of this explosive mini-series, Meghan and Harry reflect on their arrival in California in 2020, after a first chaotic stopover in Canada, on Vancouver Island, where the family was temporarily residing without any security. “It was about a week before the Covid“, recalls Prince Harry before adding: “We were stuck in this house and the whole world knew where we were. Without security, without protection.” Images then show onlookers and paparazzi filmed by surveillance cameras, prowling around their house.

Then appears a photo of Meghan Markle, in tears in the middle of an empty dressing room, suitcases and piles of clothes strewn on the ground. As the Daily Mail specifies, the snapshot was most certainly captured in their temporary accommodation on Vancouver Island, before they took refuge in California. “They just wanted to be free,” says their friend, director Tyler Perry, before continuing: “They had no plan. Everyone thinks yes, but no.”

It was also Tyler Perry who offered the couple to temporarily settle in one of his Hollywood properties, after helping them leave Canada safely. “He told us: ‘My house is secure, there will be security guards, take your time’, remembers Meghan Markle. “JI told him: ‘We will only stay for a week. Just long enough to figure out where we’re going to live’ and he replied, ‘You’re only going to stay a week. You will stay as long as necessary and you will have security guards. You’ll be safe here, until you have somewhere to go’Eventually, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and their son Archie stayed in Tyler Perry’s mansion for several months before finding their home in the Montecito neighborhood.
