The British singer Harry Styles (26), who became world famous with the boy group One Direction, is once again devoting himself to acting. After appearing in the war film "Dunkirk" (2017) by director Christopher Nolan (50), he is now taking on a role in the psychological thriller "Don't Worry, Darling". Directed by Olivia Wilde (36, "Booksmart"). As the US industry journal "Deadline" reports, Harry Styles replaces his colleague Shia LaBeouf (34, "The Peanut Butter Falcon").

According to the report, Shia LaBeouf had to cancel the role in "Don't Worry, Darling" due to a scheduling conflict. In addition to Harry Styles, the cast also includes Florence Pugh (24, "Little Women") and Chris Pine (40, "Wonder Woman"). Director Olivia Wilde will also be seen in a supporting role.
Not much is known about the plot. "Don't Worry, Darling" is set to take place in the 1950s, in a remote community in the California desert. Katie Silberman, who also co-wrote Booksmart, will write the script. For Wilde it is the next big directorial work announced, she will also direct a previously unknown Marvel project, as well as "Perfect", a drama about the US gymnast Kerri Strug (42).
