Harry Wijnvoord is “very nervous” about the next few weeks. He not only celebrates his dream wedding, but also his TV comeback.

The wedding is approaching in big steps: “The price is hot” cult moderator Harry Wijnvoord (72) and his Iris Dahlke invited to the pre-wedding dinner in Alfons Schuhbeck’s Munich restaurant on Wednesday. The couple, who have been legally married since last year, will exchange vows again in mid-March during a three-day dream wedding on a luxurious five-star cruise ship in the middle of the Rhine.

The spectacle will be accompanied by the travel channel sonnenklar.TV, which will broadcast the celebrations live on television in a total of 18 episodes as part of the real-time soap “Celebrities in Holiday Paradise”. The 15-minute episodes will be shown between March 16th and 18th. “There’s really nothing staged or staged,” promises Andreas Lambeck, managing director of sonnenklar.TV and longtime friend of Harry Wijnvoord. It is an “authentic” and “improvised” project. It should also “shake a bit” on the ship.

Too much stress before the big day?

The fact that their dream wedding is accompanied by cameras does not bother Wijnvoord and Dahlke. “Now it’s the case that 50 to 60 cell phones are pulled out at every wedding, everyone is filming and people don’t notice anything from the wedding anymore. They can stop doing that now because professional cameramen are doing it. The pictures will definitely be nicer.” , the cult moderator is confident.

There is still a lot to do before the wedding bells ring. The preparations are “hectic,” explains the wife of the Dutch cult moderator. “It wasn’t just about preparing for the wedding. I have my fashion business to run and Harry keeps getting professional inquiries. The wedding actually took a little bit of a backseat.” Wijnvoord is currently preparing for the long-awaited TV comeback of its cult show “The price is hot” at the end of March/beginning of April. For that he had to travel to Cologne to the RTL broadcaster: “These are also ten days where I’m very challenged. But of course it’s something very special, a lot of people are looking forward to it.”

Romance is not neglected

Despite all the hustle and bustle, Wijnvoord is “very nervous” when he looks at the big day: “I’m only happy when we’re on board and we can finally start. I long for the day.” As far as the planning is concerned, the two decide everything “together”, Dahlke assures. From Wijnvoord’s point of view, however, his loved one is the “maker” of the whole thing. “I either agree or it will be done the way she wants it,” jokes the moderator.

Love and togetherness are by no means neglected by the two. “We’ll take them too. We both attach great importance to spending time together,” emphasizes Dahlke. “We have a lot in common and we both like to live that out. That’s important. The openness and trust in each other, respect and love. That makes a good team and that’s who we are.” Wijnvoord agrees with his sweetheart, adding: “And it doesn’t stop with the food and the music. We have a lot in common in that regard and it fits.”

After the celebrations, the two have to wait a little longer for their honeymoon. Dahlke has to take care of her business first, at Wijnvoord there are a few appointments on the calendar. “But we will visit our friends in Bad Griesbach. We will then spend a long weekend or maybe a whole week there. We both like to play golf and it’s fantastic to do that there,” says Wijnvoord happily.
