Next Friday we can experience the magic of the supermoon again. The so-called “Harvest Moon” reaches its peak this time in the zodiac sign Aries. You can find out what this means for all zodiac signs here.

On September 29, 2023, the lunar cycle will reach its zenith again and illuminate the night sky. It is the tenth full moon this year and is astrologically special for several reasons. On the one hand, this full moon is on again Supermoon. This means that it is particularly close to Earth and is up to 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than the faintest moon of the year. The full moon in September doesn’t top the largest moon of the year so far, the blue supermoon in August, but it is still above average size and no less impressive.

Why is the September full moon also called the harvest moon?

“Harvest moons occur at this time of year and are so called because a nearly full moon appears at sunset for several days,” Patrick Hartigan, a professor of physics and astronomy at Rice University, told Business Insider. The bright light of the moon allowed farmers harvesting in the northern hemisphere to continue working after sunset. In keeping with the time of year, the Harvest Moon takes on a golden, orange or red hue due to red wavelengths from the atmosphere.

The supermoon is particularly impressive right at moonrise. In Germany this is around 7 p.m.

What does the full harvest moon mean for the zodiac signs?

September’s Super Moon is in the confident and strong fire sign Aries, ushering in a time of transformation and new fortunes. From an astrological perspective, the full moon also symbolizes a time of development and change. For this year’s Harvest Moon, we can, above all, celebrate life and be grateful. Since the fire sign Aries is known for its courage and willpower, this supermoon also gives us the strength to take new paths and reflect on our lives. Changes do not instill fear in Aries, on the contrary: they know that they are necessary for personal growth and therefore face challenges that can be unpleasant and possibly painful. Visions and letting go are topics that we can now devote ourselves to under the harvest moon.

But spontaneity, drive and a sense of adventure are also awakened in us, which could be reflected in both love and professional life. The supermoon therefore has a bit of a roller coaster ride in store for the zodiac signs. Luckily, the Libra season we are in balances out the ups and downs so that changes and new things don’t completely overwhelm us.

Danger: The supermoon can make everything feel a little more intenseas it already does under the full moon.

What all zodiac signs are allowed to do now

The supermoon on September 29th is the last one this year before the eclipse season begins. From an astrological point of view, solar and lunar eclipses are always Times of great unrest and change, which the universe creates for us and during which it itself takes the lead. These upheavals usually take place in our inner, unconscious and are only visible on the outside at some distance.

It’s even more important now to once again let go of everything that limits us, to create a self-determined life. It applies now important decisions to meet and to really direct our energy towards our desires and visionswhich we have already manifested and which can come true by the end of the year.
