Has CIA Torture Curbed Terrorism?

It is a war waged by the American army and the CIA in the shadow of “black sites” in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. In these ghost prisons, but also on the military base of Guantanamo, the American intelligence agency employed for several years “Enhanced interrogation techniques”, in other words acts of torture, on dozens of men suspected of terrorist activity.

An ultra-violent method, revealed in detail in 2014 by a US Senate commission of inquiry. The case caused a scandal, and questions: what did the CIA know about the effectiveness of these techniques? Did they have any results?

In light of the revelations of the American report and the testimonies of prisoners, including that of Mourad Benchellali, detained for two years at Guantanamo, The world traces this episode of the American war on terrorism.
