Earlier this year, Hayden Panettiere suffered a tragic loss. Her brother died at just 28 years old. Now the actress remembers Jansen with touching words. It would have been his 29th birthday.
February 19, 2023 was a black day for Hayden Panettiere, 34. At the age of just 28, her younger brother Jansen Panettiere passed away completely unexpectedly. He would have celebrated his 29th birthday on September 25th. The actress’s thoughts are with him on this special day.
Hayden Panettiere: “I miss you every day”
Hayden Panettiere publishes a post on Instagram that touches the heart. Her lines make it clear how close the difficult loss still affects her. “Happy birthday, little brother. I miss you every day. I will love you forever,” are the heartbreaking words that the 34-year-old shares with a photo from her childhood days.
In the photo you can see a cheeky, grinning little Hayden with her little brother Jansen in Christmas outfits. The two are sitting between wrapped presents in front of a decorated Christmas tree.
Natalia Yegorova takes part
Not only numerous fans commented on the American’s post, Natalia Yegorova, 49, also left a few emotional words. “Remember me and keep him in my heart forever,” writes the “Let’s Dance” participant, who was once the actress’s sister-in-law. While Yegorova was married to Vitali Klitschko, 52, for 26 years, Panettiere was in a relationship with his brother Wladimir Klitschko, 47, from 2010 to 2011 and again from 2013 to 2018. Their relationship resulted in a daughter.

Jansen Panettiere died of cardiomegaly, an enlargement of the heart, associated with complications of the aortic valve, the actor and voice actor’s family confirmed shortly after his death. “Jansen’s heart could be seen in his eyes, his charm in his bright, engaging smile, his soul in his masterful and insightful paintings and the joy of life in his dry wit,” his parents Lesley Vogel and Alan Lee said in a statement to Skip ” Panettiere and his sister. “His charisma, his warmth, his compassion for others and his creative spirit will live on forever in our hearts and in the hearts of everyone he met.”
