“He had trouble accepting age”: Julie Jardon confides in Igor Bogdanoff’s cosmetic surgeries

Six days apart, Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff died at the age of 72 on December 28, 2021 and January 3, 2022. A few weeks after the death of the famous twins, BFMTV will broadcast on Monday January 31, 2022 at 8:50 p.m. a report entitled Bogdanoff, the last mysteries will be broadcast. While the physique of the two brothers made a lot of talk, it was with frankness that Igor’s last companion, Julie Jardon confided: “It’s true that I didn’t know what was going on, what he was doing, what he wasn’t doing. But I knew he had trouble coming to terms with age, coming to terms with growing old (…) I think he saw in my eyes that age did not matter that much and I hope that I brought him a little refreshment during the seven years that we have spent together. I think it reassured him and gave him more self-confidence, in his body, than Grichka who had never really been in a relationship or who had short stories.“

In this documentary, Maud Guillaumin, the biographer of Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff noted: “All of a sudden around 2005, they reappear with this huge chin of Tutankhamun that everyone notices.“Their friend, host and producer Patrice Laffont said: “Some say they wanted to look more and more like aliens and they succeeded!“A few weeks earlier, Véronique, the sister of the famous twins, had confided in the columns of Gala : “Their physique was a taboo. A mystery they had fun watching us try to unravel. One day, I asked them two hours about cosmetic surgery. They were walking me around, but it made them laugh deep inside. I got nothing out of it.“Amused, she added:”We played at taking each other by the chin for a ‘I’ve got you, you’ve got me by the goatee’ and then there you go. They knew what I thought, but I respected their choice.“

Grickha Bogdanoff: “We, Igor and I, are experimenters”

For his part, it is in The unfiltered interview of Télé-Loisirs that Grichka Bogdanoff had assured: “We have never had what is called cosmetic surgery. We are, Igor and I, experimenters. In experimentation, there are a number of small protocols. These are not openings… But these are protocols that are diverse, which we cannot talk about like that!“
