He has a heart attack while burying the body of the woman he had just strangled to death

A man died of a heart attack after strangling to death the woman he was living with.

A sordid death. An American died in South Carolina of a heart attack while burying the woman he had just killed. He would have strangled the victim who had lived with him for several years, in their garden. After the crime, he would have put the corpse in a plastic bag and was therefore preparing to make it disappear, reports the “Daily Beast”. “Evidence gathered at the scene, along with witness statements, helped investigators establish a timeline, which leads us to believe that Mr McKinnon attacked Ms Dent while inside their home,” the authorities wrote. “Mr. McKinnon then tied her up and wrapped her in trash bags before putting her in the previously dug pit. The pit was then partially filled by Mr. McKinnon”.

The facts took place on Saturday May 7. That day, the police intervened having been alerted following the discovery of the body of the unconscious man. When paramedics arrived, they found the body of 60-year-old Joseph Anthony McKinnon. Continuing their investigation, the officers came across a second body in a “freshly dug hole”. Scans confirmed it was Patricia Ruth Dent, 65, who shared the suspect’s home, although their relationship was not specified.

The autopsy confirmed that the victim died of strangulation. The victim’s body was “partially buried”, which according to the police proves that the man had his heart attack when he made the body disappear.
