Actor Samuel le Bihan has made rare confidences about his daughter and the autistic disorder from which she suffers. A fight of which he revealed some secrets.
Father of little Angia, born of his union with model Daniela Bayle between 2011 and 2015, the 57-year-old actor confided in Le Figaro about his fight against autism. Directly concerned by the disease, the actor has highlighted this attack in his new fiction entitled You will not killbroadcast this fall on France 2. In this series, Samuel Le Bihan plays a lawyer who defends a mother guilty of ending the suffering of her autistic child. He confided in our colleagues on this occasion:“My daughter, it’s a sun! She has made tremendous progress. Before, she didn’t speak, didn’t eat and she used to mutilate herself…”.
Samuel Le Bihan wanted to clarify his daily life with the disease : “I see a lot of people in despair. We don’t realize what it’s like to take care of a disabled child every day. It’s very, very hard!”. And to conclude: “Today, Angia is in college, she has friends, she laughs, she communicates… There are two worlds between her childhood and today. It’s a life lesson for me and it’s also a source of happiness”.

A commitment that the actor claimed in 2020, he who is the sponsor of Autistes sans frontières and SOS Autisme. He is also co-founder of the Autisme Info Service platform, intended to support parents. It was at a time when I was working and traveling a lot. An autistic child, a priori, must not move, must remain in the same place. But, I had no choice. I had to take her“.
A way of life, which has obviously had the desired effects: “We were able to do incredible things, change countries every two months, even continents. She was able to develop a faculty of adaptation and enrich herself with many things. Having to readjust each time has done him a lot of good. It was a crazy experience.”
