It is not a birth but a marriage proposal which took place between two rays of the Leclerc supermarket in Saintes in Charente-Maritime. Franck T. asked the store if he could use the microphone to ask for the hand of his partner Sylvie R. with whom he has been in a relationship for 10 years. After thanking the store team, Franck started by kneeling down in front of his partner and taking the box out of his pocket. In addition to surprising customers who were shopping, the scene was filmed and made the rounds on social networks. The score taken on December 1, 2023 by France Blue indicated that the video had been viewed more than 760,000 times on Instagram and 235,000 on Facebook. A magical moment that took on more importance than Franck and Sylvie thought.
An unusual marriage proposal
It is quite rare to see marriage proposals in supermarkets. Subsequently, Franck and Sylvie spoke at the microphone of France Blue La Rochelle. The future husband explained the reason for his choice: “I wanted something unusual for my little wife, just to do something original.
