These two candidates should go particularly far at "Germany's next top model" in 2020: Jacky (21), the veterinary assistant from Rheingau-Taunus and 19-year-old Tamara from Vienna accompanied Heidi Klum (46) to the amfAR gala in New York. Every year Klum brings two of her girls to the event and often they get quite far – sometimes even to the finals. Jacky only joins the casting show in today's episode (6.2., 8:15 p.m., ProSieben). She is one of the three promoters.
On the sidelines of the gala in an interview with "USA Today", Heidi Klum said about the general selection of the candidates for her show: "I can only search for girls who are in demand in the industry."
Fortunately, the requirements in this regard had changed a few years ago: "Pretty girls with curves that were previously not wanted in the industry are now, so I'm casting these girls now." What surprised her the most was the personality of the young women: "Many of them lack self-confidence". Always try to strengthen that. This change in the fashion business is "long overdue," said the 46-year-old.
Unusually covered
Klum surprised himself with the appearance in an extremely wide, ice-blue satin robe with pearl applications. Except for her arms, shoulders and one leg, the dress by designer Stéphane Rolland (54) covered more than you are used to from the Klum, who usually likes to wear figure-hugging red carpets.
The look was completed by nude-colored strappy heels from Stella Luna and a sequined, spherical clutch in ice blue. Klum chose a Lorraine-Schwartz diamond chain as jewelry. With the make-up, she put the focus on the eyes with a lot of dark eyeliner. Her long, distinctly pale hair wore her hair open and sleek.
While Jacky shone in a wine-red robe, Tamara convinced in a dark sequin dress.
