Heidi Klum: One of her children wants to follow in her footsteps

Will top model and presenter Heidi Klum (46) get a successor from her own family at some point? Her 15-year-old daughter Leni is an "independent person", but is interested in her mother's career path, as Klum reveals to the "People" magazine.

"The only one who wants to follow in my footsteps so far is my eldest daughter Leni," said Klum, who has been featured on her new show "Making the Cut" on Amazon Prime Video since the end of March. Klum reveals that even if Leni feels that she "has to do her own thing", her oldest child feels attracted to the fashion world. The 46-year-old calls this industry "merciless": Klum is quoted by "People" as saying that this has changed a lot over the years. "When I started in 1992 it was very different."

Patchwork family

In another interview, Klum just raved about husband Tom Kaulitz (30). The British fashion magazine "Red" said: "When we close our doors and we are at home, we want to be together all the time." You would have the same views and values. It is not a matter of course that everything runs so smoothly, even if you are deeply in love. So Klum is happy that everyone gets on so well: "He gets on very well with my children and they get on well with him."

Heidi Klum is a mother of four. Her marriage to British singer Seal (57) gave birth to three children: Lou (10), Johan (13) and Henry (15). Her firstborn, daughter Helene "Leni" (15), comes from an earlier relationship and was adopted by Seal.
