At the end of last year, Heidi Klum decided to fulfill her daughter Leni Klum's greatest wish: starting her career in the modeling business. But does Mama Heidi see her daughter's potential to become a supermodel?

There is more to being a model than just wearing the Klum name. Not only Heidi Klum, 47, knows that, but also her daughter Leni Klum, 16, since last year. She started her career with her "Vogue" cover. Just a few weeks later, she landed the next job.

Nobody was paid any attention to at the Berlin Fashion Week. Leni was given the honor of opening Fashion Week on January 18, 2021 at her young age. Heidi Klum's verdict on the catwalk debut is clear.

Heidi Klum hardly recognized her daughter Leni

Because the "Germany's Next Top Model" presenter not only has many years of experience, but also a trained eye – after all, she has been rating over hundreds of young women for 16 seasons to see who brings that certain something to the industry.

According to Heidi Klum, Leni mastered her debut with flying colors. What's more, the 47-year-old barely recognized her daughter. "I've seen her walking around at home in high heels several times, but never on a professional level," Klum told Entertainment Online. Seeing her daughter on the catwalk almost made her speechless – and that should mean something about her. Her first thought, according to Klum, was: "Wow, who is that?"

Leni Klum already had lucrative offers beforehand

That 16-year-old Leni would follow in the footsteps of her famous model mom was never planned. Heidi had kept it out of the public eye for years. Offers for photo shoots came in early years, but Klum always turned them down – much to the displeasure of her daughter.

If it had been up to Leni, she would have started her career much earlier. But with a cover for "Vogue" and the opening of Berlin Fashion Week, there is no longer any reason to complain. Nothing stands in the way of Leni's career.
