Heike Maurer (68) became known to a wide audience as a lottery fair on ZDF, she moderated “Lotto am Wednesday” on TV until 2013. In a few days she can now be seen on “Celebrity Big Brother”. “A very interesting format”

“Celebrity Big Brother” is “a very interesting format and very complex,” says the moderator. “I will certainly get to know a lot of people and come into the most varied of situations, and possibly also have borderline experiences.”

Since Maurer has “had no contact with reality shows” so far, she will probably also encounter some challenges. For them, these will probably be “moments in which you are otherwise alone: ​​showering, brushing your teeth, sleeping. Possibly also arguments about everyday things.” The 68-year-old is aware that she will “get together with people of different ages and backgrounds” – “and with their characteristics and quirks”.

And what does she expect from participating? “Above all, I hope that participation will be a very interesting time. That I can push my personal limits and find out things about myself that I may not have known before,” laughs Maurer, apparently also motivated by the pandemic for participation is. Because she simply hopes that “I will get among people! We were alone for so long because of Corona, and I am really looking forward to the most diverse encounters!”

On August 3rd, Sat.1 announced the first eight candidates who will be featured in the new season of “Celebrity Big Brother” from August 6th at 8:15 pm.
