Helen Mirren (74, "The Glow of Memory") understood the business in which she has been working for several decades. In order to draw the attention of her followers to a fundraiser, the actress used a proven trick: a "No Make-up" photo straight from her bed.
In the photo she posted on Instagram, the actress is apparently lying in bed shortly after waking up: messy hair, tired eyes and glasses included. "In return for this photo of me right after waking up, please donate," Mirren writes to the picture and adds a link to a donation page for the "Intensive Care Society", a British charity that supports caregivers and their patients.
The "No Make-up" photos are becoming a trend in times of corona virus and isolation. Models such as Bella Hadid (23), Kaia Gerber (18), Heidi Klum (46) or actresses like Amanda Seyfried (34), Eva Mendes (46), Drew Barrymore (45), Julia Roberts (52) or Julianne Moore ( 59) already shared pictures of themselves without any "paint". Why not combine the whole thing with a meaningful purpose?
