Stylist and image consultant Cristina Cordula gave us an interview to talk about fashion (and her trend forecasts for 2024), but also to present her new show, Dressing Challenge. Broadcast on M6, this show was created in partnership with Vinted. The goal ? Help participants sort through their wardrobe, sell their clothes and get new ones on the second-hand market. Cristina Cordula wanted to participate in this show because she is very concerned about second hand: “You have to learn to consume intelligently, to sell the clothes you don’t use… And with this money, buy second hand,” advises Cristina Cordula to aufeminin. “We do good for our wallet, for the planet and for our style because we can find gems that we wouldn’t find in new things.”

What is it about ? “I never part with my jeans, it’s essential”, Cristina Cordula tells us. “At the moment I’m putting a lot of width. Even if slim jeans are coming back, I don’t wear them and I sold everything because I find that in mom jeans, flared or straight, we are more comfortable. Wide jeans are also particularly fashionable and have the particularity of lengthening the leg. For the stylist, jeans are timeless and above all, it can be worn in all seasons. How to wear it? For Cristina Cordula, one of the hottest jeans for this fall-winter 2023/2024 is couture jeans: “it’s an improved version of the upgrader jeans”, explains the stylist. “It’s jeans with pearls, feathers, embroidery…”, specifies Cristina Cordula. This type of pants can make a casual look very original. They are very trendy. Another fashionable model: wide blue or raw jeans. It highlights the waist while lengthening the leg thanks to its oversized side. We also really like the very fashionable rhinestone jeans, which are a nice change from simple denim.
