A new hearing scheduled in a fortnight
Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers did not fail to point out that “no proof“ of their client’s guilt was not in the record. According to Jean-Baptiste Alary, if the judge of freedoms considered that the main suspect of the case should remain in prison, it is in particular to preserve the evidence, to avoid the risks of pressure on the witnesses and the victims and to guarantee its maintenance. available to justice. “These are criteria that do not prejudge guilt“, he insisted again. A new hearing before the investigating chamber of the court of appeal should take place within a fortnight.
