In a new article devoted to polluting substances contained in fruits and vegetables, 60 Million Consumers reveals which are the most contaminated of all. These are 3 fruits.

“In ten years, the proportion of fruits and vegetables containing at least one PFAS residue for agricultural use has almost tripled, increasing by 220% for fruits and 274% for vegetables” reveal the results of the magazine’s survey published by the National Consumer Institute.   • THE apricots : 31% of commercially purchased apricots contain PFAS

Worse still, it is common to detect “three to four different PFAS” in one and the same fruit. It is therefore better to try to buy strawberries, peaches and apricots from organic farming – which does not allow them – to protect yourself from ingesting them regularly.

These perfluorinated compounds are mostly “endocrine disruptor potential”when they are not classified among carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic substances for reproduction, as highlighted 60 Million consumers.
