The deployment of the stable version of Android 14 on Oppo devices is not yet final, but the arrival of the ColorOS 14 beta is becoming clear, for its part, on many smartphones and some tablets from the Chinese manufacturer .
Launched last week, the stable version of Android 14 will gradually make its way among smartphone and tablet manufacturers. To prepare for this deployment, Google’s main partner manufacturers are revealing, one after the other, their respective update schedules. Among them, Oppo, which unveiled its program for the beta launch of ColorOS 14 (its Android 14 software interface).
As a reminder, last year the brand was the first to deploy Android 13 on its smartphones. This year, however, it was given priority by Tecno, a little-known brand in Europe. And yet, its Camon 20 Premier 5G became a few days ago the first non-Pixel smartphone on the market to run Android 14.
ColorOS 14: the beta deployed before the end of the year on around forty devices
This small setback on Oppo’s side is justified by the large quantity of devices eligible for ColorOS 14 this year. In all, around forty products will be able to benefit from the ColorOS 14 beta before the last days of 2023. Among them , many entry-level, mid-range devices, and some older generation flagships.
Finally, remember that, since September 30, the Oppo Find N2, Find N2 Flip, Find X6 Pro, Find X6, Reno 9 Pro 5G and the OnePlus 11 have already received access to the ColorOS 14 beta. They will also be first served when the stable version starts rolling out.
