Here it all begins: “Axel has understood that he can be the one who will change everything”, reveals Thomas Da Costa

In “Here everything begins” on TF1, Axel finds himself between the Armands and the Teyssiers as the election of the next director of the Institute approaches… Thomas Da Costa, his interpreter, confides in the continuation of the adventures of his character.

On TF1 in Here it all begins (Monday to Friday from 6:30 p.m.), Axel has just discovered that the Teyssiers are not his biological family. Indeed, the young man learned that he is in fact an Armand, like Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini), Rose (Vanessa Demouy) and Louis (Fabian Wolfrom)!

However, with the approach of the election of the new director of the Institute, his voice will be decisive during the vote! What will the first year choose to do: will he oust Emmanuel (Benjamin Baroche) from this position, who has lied to him all his life or will he not follow the instructions of his siblings whom he barely knows?

For AlloCiné, Thomas Da Costa, the interpreter of Axel, makes revelations about the continuation of the intrigues of the soap opera …

AlloCiné: Did you expect this big revelation about Axel’s origins in “Here it all begins”?

Thomas DaCosta: Not at all, but it’s interesting because it allows me to play very different things as an actor. Axel is usually very sunny and there I was able to dig elsewhere. This story reshuffles the cards for the series. Other doors open…

Your character now finds himself between the Teyssier and Armand families… How will he position himself in relation to that?

His position is special because these clans are the main ones in the series. Possibly, he could link them one day… He is passionate about cooking but now his whole family is at the Institute! (laughs) It’s complicated for him.

Is he aware that he can become a pawn in the war to become the director of the Institute?

Yes, he knows it. He is torn between his heart family, the Teyssiers, and his new “blood family”, the Armands. These allow him to discover a facet of his story. But all this happens at the moment when there is this big decision to be made for the future of the school… He understood that he can be the one who will change everything!

Finally, who will Axel turn to?

Everyone asks him to choose a side for the vote but he is totally caught in the crossfire. In a way, he wants revenge against his uncle and the vote could be the right tool to take this revenge…

Axel will also learn of a very important email from Lucie, his biological mother. What consequences will this message have on him?

He will be confused and consider this whole situation differently. This will bring him new information… but also raise other questions.

Axel will forgive Emmanuel his lies but can their relationship be saved?

Axel is a big believer in second chances. He would like everything to go well with his uncle afterwards because Emmanuel has always been a model. He’s built a lot through him so it’s important to him that their issues get resolved. The ball is in Teyssier’s court.

Can Axel and Louis weave a sincere brotherly relationship?

It’s always complicated with Louis! Axel is wary of it even though now they are brothers. He knows he’s used to hitting on the sly… That doesn’t stop him from wanting to believe in him because Axel isn’t in the conflict.

Axel does not suspect that Rose and Clotilde also have great interests to defend in this vote to protect the Circle. Will he learn of the existence of the secret organization?

There has never been a link between Axel and the Circle and it does not seem to me that this is planned, for the moment. Plus, he’s got enough stuff to deal with right now! (laughs)

In the summaries of the next episodes of “Here everything begins” unveiled by TF1, it is announced that Jasmine (Zoï Severin) and Axel will very soon go through an ordeal as a couple…

There will indeed be water in the gas!

Nicolas Anselmo (Eliott) announced to move away from the series for a while. Do you understand his decision? Do you feel the same need?

I understand his decision. As far as I am concerned, I tour a lot but I have no departure to announce! (laughs) Certainly, I want other things. Playing in ITC requires a big pace. So I won’t just do the series for 15 years because I have projects on the side, especially music. I also released my single “Jeu” and my first EP will follow in the year. But I’m fine here.
