Result: the eyebrow line is thin and lacks amplitude. If some opt for castor oil, dye or permanent makeup, there is another alternative within your reach: the pencil.
To get rid of sparse eyebrows and give them back all the beauty they deserve, here are some tips that I recommend for making them up properly using this tool.
Tips for properly applying makeup to sparse eyebrows
- Bet on a suitable pencil
To properly make up scattered eyebrows, it is important to bring a specific pencil, or at least one adapted to your eyebrows and the expected result. To work the area in a natural way, think of a pencil in the color closest to that of your eyebrow hair. There are even pencils with a pencil and powder tip (Express Brow, Maybelline). The wax tip redraws the eyebrow and helps to fix the color, and the powder tip colors the eyebrow and fills in the irregularities of the eyebrow.
- Makeup in four key steps
At first, start from the inside of the eyebrow by making small diagonal hatching, from bottom to top. This will achieve a more natural result than a straight line across the brow line. Then, hatch the eyebrows without pressing too much and slightly forcing the line on the middle area, which will accentuate the volume effect. Remember to blend lightly with the flat of your finger to remove the excess. Finally, apply a setting powder on the make-up to maintain the pencil line throughout the day.
