Hilaria Baldwin sparked discussions with a photo of her after-baby body. Now she has fought against bodyshaming.

A few days ago, Hilaria Baldwin (36) shared a snapshot with son Eduardo on Instagram. The mother of five posed in underwear with her child, who was born last September. Alec Baldwin's wife (62) is slim as ever, apparently no trace of problem areas after her pregnancy. But the 36-year-old doesn't just get compliments for her after-baby body.

Actress and comedian Amy Schumer (39, "Dating Queen") shared Baldwin's photo on her Instagram account and allowed herself a little joke: She pretended to be Baldwin in the comments and, together with her son Gene, wished to join in May 2019 World has come, Merry Christmas to their fans. Users took this as an opportunity to talk about Baldwin's wondrous after-baby body. The mother did not put up with it and defended herself in an Instagram video.

First, Baldwin made it clear in the four-minute video that she was always up for jokes and constantly made fun of her husband. Amy Schumer's joke did not fully understand her at first, and other people then tried to explain it to her. Schumer's post ultimately led to the whole thing degenerating – including bodyshaming. Critics have claimed that mothers don't look like that. "But some mothers do. This mother does," Baldwin said, pointing to himself. The "Body Positivity" movement is committed to the acceptance of all bodies, regardless of whether they are slim or rounded.

Sorry from Amy Schumer

On the one hand, it is her predisposition, on the other hand, she loves to do sports and she has always been a fitness person, even if she currently does not have much time for exercise and has to recover from a broken ankle, said Baldwin. "I don't have to justify myself for my body, just as other people don't have to apologize for what they look like and what their life story is." There is too much negativity in the world this year and she wishes that everyone would be a little more loving to one another.

Amy Schumer apologized to the mother of five in the comments on the video. Hilaria Baldwin again replied: "Don't apologize, you always make me laugh! I just wanted to point out their behavior to some people who have gone wild. You are not responsible for them."

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin have been married since 2012. The two have five children: Carmen (born 2013), Rafael (born 2015), Leonardo (born 2016), Romeo (born 2018) and Eduardo. Alec Baldwin also has daughter Ireland Baldwin (25) from his first marriage to actress Kim Basinger (67, "L.A. Confidential").
