Home cinema with Aldi: Discounter sells inexpensive Bluetooth soundbar from Kenwood

Discounter Aldi will be offering many offers in its online shop from May 17th. Among other things, there is a soundbar from Kenwood at a bargain price. The hi-fi system can be connected to smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth and used as a Bluetooth speaker.

Operation on the television is via HDMI or optical audio cable. The sound output is decent, at 60 watts RMS (average output), and the integrated DSP amplifier (digital signal processor) ensures good sound.

You can position the soundbar below the television on a TV board, for example. Alternatively, a bracket for wall mounting is included in the scope of delivery. The device dimensions are 90 x 7.25 x 8.6 centimeters (W x H x D), the weight is 2.17 kilograms. You can control the soundbar from the sofa using the included remote control.

The soundbar from the discounter offers a solid overall package and certainly a much better sound than the built-in television speakers of a flat screen device. Of course, you shouldn’t expect a premium sound for the price of just under 100 euros, but it’s definitely an upgrade to the standard speaker system.

The Kenwood Bluetooth soundbar LS-600BT has a recommended retail price of 149 euros. At Aldi you only pay 99.99 euros for the sound system from May 17th, other retailers still charge an average of around 130 euros. So the offer is impressive.
