In 2022, Sony began to do what we didn’t think the company would ever do: bring its exclusive PlayStation games to PC. Although we are still far from a day one release on both platforms, this is a big step forward for players, who now have access to the biggest names in PlayStation Studios without needing to buy a PS4 or PS5. On March 21, a new title will be added to this lovely list: Horizon Forbidden West.

If you missed it last year, Horizon Forbidden West is the second opus of Horizon, a license from Guerrilla Games which places us in the shoes of Aloy, an adventurer in a world where humanity has almost completely disappeared and where the Earth is now invaded by robot dinosaurs. An ultra-effective summary of the current AAA formula, between magnificent open world and nervous and satisfying gameplay.

Horizon Forbidden West arrives on PC on March 21

As usual at Sony, the PC port of Horizon Forbidden West comes with support for the most popular upscaling technologies, namely DLSS 3, FSR and XeSSn depending on your graphics card. The game will also be compatible with 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 screens, allowing you to fully enjoy the sumptuous landscapes it offers.

Note that you will need to connect your DualSense controller to your PC to benefit from the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Unfortunately, there are still some unknowns in the equation. Additionally, the recommended minimum requirements have not yet been revealed, while compatibility with the Steam Deck is still uncertain. The game will be sold for 59.99 euros on Steam.
