How did Théo, a loyal friend of Jutine Vayrac, help the investigators identify the alleged murderer of the young woman? He confides in the Parisian.

Justine Vayrac’s life changed in one evening. After being reported missing on the night of Saturday October 22 to Sunday October 23, the body of the 20-year-old young woman was found this Thursday October 27 at the place indicated by her alleged murderer. Théo, one of his friends, present the evening of his disappearance, confided in the Parisian in the hours leading up to the tragedy. The young man revealed how he enabled the arrest of Lucas L., the prime suspect. All this dates back to last Saturday evening when the young mother of a 2-year-old boy went with her friends to La Charette, a nightclub well known to the inhabitants of Brive-la-gaillarde (Corrèze). She is accompanied by Theo, a faithful friend and other acquaintances. After several drinks, Justine Vayrac, feeling bad, decides to get some fresh air. Her friend follows her.

Leaving the club, in front of the entrance, we met Lucas (main suspect in the murder, editor’s note) and obviously Justine already knew him. She had spent several evenings with him. They had a friendly attitude towards each other. I had nothing to worry about“, explains the young man and adds: “We discussed 5, 10 minutes and (…) Justine left to vomit for the first time. Lucas and I walked her to her car. Once there, Justine said she wanted to rest in the car for an hour. He told me he also wanted to rest. The two lay down in the car“.

Justine Vayrac will be sick a second time before her friend decides to leave the place, making sure that the young woman would be fine. To do this, he asked the suspect to give him his phone number: “As I did not know him, I preferred to take his phone number. I asked him to give me a call, which he gladly did. And I recorded his cell phone“. A gesture that will allow the police to save valuable time during their investigation.

Theo made guilty “Some say it’s my fault”

After Justine Vayrac’s parents and boyfriend reported her missing, the phone number was crucial in catching the suspect. Indeed, thanks to Theo’s presence of mind, they were able togo up to the owner of the number and arrest him. “I’m glad I took his number, it allowed the investigation to progress” estimated the friend of Justine Vayrac.

However, many are his detractors on social networks. “Some say I should have stayed with her, say it’s partly my fault. it’s not my fault.“, he confides. The friends of Justine and Théo nuance the situation: “Honestly, Theo walked her back to her car, did what he could. I couldn’t have done better“, testifies one of them. After confessing to the murder of the young woman, Lucas L. was indicted and remanded in custody for murder, forcible confinement and rape.
