Where to get a large tree at a low price?

There are two schools: natural trees and artificial trees. But anyway, and contrary to what you might think, you don't have to turn to a small tree to buy one cheaply. Many shops offer trees measuring between 1.50 m and 1.80 m for around twenty euros.

  • Favor hyper and supermarkets

Carrefour, Auchan, Intermarché and Leclerc are renowned for offering conifers among the cheapest. As for artificial trees, the best prices are generally found at hard discounters, such as Lidl or Aldi, and at e-merchants, such as Cdiscount. You can order your tree by choosing "Click & Collect" or opt for the classic delivery. Namely: it usually takes between 1 and 3 days.

Did you know ? Castomara is offering vouchers to people who have fallen for one of their conifers. As every year, the brand offers its offer "1 Christmas tree purchased = € 15 free". You can benefit from it until December 24 with a minimum purchase of € 24.90. For this price, you will have a "Nordmann" with a height varying from 1.50 m to 1.80 m. This is excellent value for money!

If you are on a really tight budget, you can always check with your town hall. Indeed, some cities tend to order too many trees for their Christmas decorations. Municipalities can resell their surplus to their constituents. To have more weight and negotiate a better price, it would be wise to join together with several inhabitants in order to formulate a common request.
