The first thing to do is therefore to make sure that your router offers a 5 GHz connection. To do this, consult the manual for it or contact your operator directly. For your PC, since it runs on Windows 11, it should theoretically have the necessary technology to receive this frequency. Once done, here is how to connect your PC:
- Right click on the start menu then click Device Manager
- Pull down the menu Network cards
- Look for the element that indicates Wireless Or wireless
- Right click on it then select Properties
- Go to the tab Advance
- From the left menu, select Privileged band
- From the drop-down menu on the right, select Prefer the 5 GHz band
